HYPNOSIS AND PSYCHIC DEVELOPMENT
Our philosophy at the Michigan Institute of NeuroDynamics is clearly stated in our motto:
If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a
day.
If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a
lifetime.
Hypnosis has proven a very useful tool in the area of psychological therapy. We also find that just as it assists the psychological blocks, it can be a great aide in eliminating psychic blocks. Our spiritual work is an expansion of our psychological understanding of how the conscious and subconscious minds work, especially when in contact with our Higher Self. When all three aspects are combined in consciousness there is an innate awareness which blesses us with clarity, understanding, guidance and growth. As the Good Book says, "Ask and it shall be given thee; knock and the door will be opened unto you." We all have a spiritual right to have guidance in our lives.
In 1973 a teacher appeared to me and gave me the understanding of this connection and instructed me to begin teaching people how to connect with their own High Self. The ancient Polynesian system, which is called "Huna," also teaches us about High Self, Middle Self (will self) and Little Self (subconscious). The ancient Kahuna of Hawaii also understood how it was essential to unifying of all three aspects of the human capability to manifest and maintain good health both physically and emotionally, as well as awakening the spiritual gifts of healing. What we now in modern times call psychic development. The great psychologist Carl Jung, Freud’s protégé, also recognized the need to place spiritual understanding back into the practice of psychology. We might speak of this more clearly as unifying Body, Mind and Spirit.
All classes and services provided by MIND are based on the premise that our main focus is self understanding and self mastery. We are not therapists or psychics but teachers, with the clear intent to share with our students the techniques to achieve for themselves the insights and know–how they desire!
